These brightly coloured cupcakes topped off with creamy strawberry icing are sure to be a hit at the next birthday party you host (whether it’s for the little ones or for yourself!)


  • 200g butter, softened
  • 1 cup Natvia
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • natural food colouring, 4 different colours
  • 200g butter, softened
  • 1 cup Natvia
  • 2 tsp strawberry Fangks
  • 2 tbsp milk


  1. Preheat oven to 180C and line muffin pan with cupcake cases.
  2. Cream the butter, Natvia and vanilla until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one and a time and beat until just combined.
  4. Add the flour, milk and a pinch of salt and mix until combined.
  5. Divide the mixture into 4 bowls and add food colouring to each. The colours are up to you!
  6. Add spoons of each coloured mixture to the pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through. Remove onto a wire rack to cool.
  7. For the icing, beat together the butter and Natvia until fluffy.
  8. Mix the milk and strawberry Fangks together, then add to the butter mix. Spoon into a piping bag and pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
